Wednesday 7th June.

Driving home from work I listened to the Radio Leeds Leeds Leeds sports bulletin as usual, and according to them speculation is rife that Steve Bruce has been linked with the Leicester City Managers post left vacant following the departure of Martin O'Neill to Glasgow Celtic. Ian Ayre our lovely Chairman has denied that any approach had been received, so that's all right - isn't it?

An interesting piece in tonight's paper suggests that Grant Johnson might be returning to his former club Dundee United. I was so disappointed to see Grant depart last season having struggled to recover from a double hernia operation and unable to break back into the first team. I thought he was an excellent signing at only £90,000 as he worked tirelessly for 90 minutes from box to box and linked really well with Barry Horne. If only he could have scored a few more goals, although I do remember a beautiful turn and volley hitting the back of the net against Bradford City that only served to increase my esteem for this hard grafting player. I wish him every success north of the border.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
