Friday 8th December.

Ooh la la! We have a new player for tomorrow’s must must must win game against Wolves, with Peter Ndlovu joining on a month’s loan from Birmingham City. He seems to be out of favour at St Andrews, although it must be a tricky club to get a game for because of the size of Trevor Francis’s squad. The 27-year-old Zimbabwean International striker played for Coventry City prior to his move to Birmingham so has plenty of experience of the top level.

The win against Crewe last week was badly needed, but let’s be honest they were fairly mediocre opposition. Once again Wolves have failed to set the division alight as they are predicted to do each season, but will doubtless provided a much sterner test to see if we really have made any progress. It is to be hoped that the new arrival will lift both fans and players alike.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
