The bitter end

Thursday 8th March.

How could I have doubted Mr Macari, and how could I have doubted that Lee Morris would want to join Town after the thrill-a-minute encounter against Grimsby on Tuesday? Well, despite my scepticism 20 year old (are you sure he’s not 15?) Morris has agreed to join Town until the end of the season. Derby have the option of recalling him after a month, but as they are moving away from the danger zone in the Premier league hopefully they shouldn’t need to bring him back.

Although he is short of full match fitness he is likely to figure in Saturday’s crucial (aren’t they all?) game against Barnsley, and it looks as if he will start instead of either Facey or Gallen although I presume it will be the former. I just hope that he will have the same effect as our previous loan signing – Peter Ndlovu.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
