Wednesday 17th January

Despite assurances that the game would go ahead, the reserve team visit to York tonight fell victim to a frozen pitch. This was a shame because it was intended to give players such as Martin Smith some much needed match practice before the visit to Tranmere on Saturday. Macari seemed keen to give Smith chance to regain full fitness, as it looks very unlikely that Town will be acquiring any new strikers this week. Rumours that Isaiah Rankin who is out of favour at Bradford could be a target have been dismissed – thank goodness!

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
