Tuesday 16th January

Following his suspected broken cheekbone injury sustained during Saturday’s game against Stockport, Jon Dyson has been given the all clear as X-Rays have revealed no fracture, and he just suffered heavy bruising. This news comes as it was revealed that Town have received enquiries from two second division clubs for the services of Ken Monkou, and presumably Swindon are one of the likely victims. Monkou has turned down the move, and I think that he is harbouring delusions of grandeur and thinks that he is better than he really is, or is he simply too lazy to have to go out and actually earn his money?

Aware of Town’s desperate bid for a striker, there are suggestions that Portsmouth are ready to make an improved offer for Jamie Vincent - £700,000 plus Lee Bradbury. Having checked my thesaurus for the meaning of improved, words such as better, enhanced and superior appear and I’m sorry Mr Claridge but I don’t think Lee Bradbury falls into any of these categories. Anyway, Lou Macari doesn’t seem too interested so perhaps common sense will prevail.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
