Monday 6th November.

Macari is stepping up his quest for a loan striker after Town completed their 6th match without notching on Saturday. After 9 goal free hours of football a striker has got to be a priority, but as we already have Rob Kozluk on loan they’d better get it right as clubs can have no more than 2 loan players on their books at any one time and with a visit to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday for the re-arranged game they’d better get their skates on. Other teams around the bottom of the table are picking up points during this lean spell and we are now 4 points adrift of our nearest rivals and 5 behind the last relegation position.

Another struggling West Yorkshire club wielded the axe today as Bradford City parted company with their manager, Chris Hutchings. Former Town player Hutchings has achieved exactly what I hoped for by guiding them to the foot of the premier league following the summer resignation of Paul Jewell. The only sad thing is that Town might not be in the right division next season to welcome them back to the Nationwide league and relieve them of six points as we were the only club to do this during their promotion season. Good luck Chris, and thank you!

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
