The bitter end

Monday 30th October.

Macari is rapidly emerging as the favourite to succeed Steve Bruce as manager. This comes as no real surprise because it is the low cost option, but the lack of goals or upturn in results is worrying. We haven’t scored for five games now and this must be remedied quickly or our fate may be decided by the turn of the year. With a survival target of 53 points (I don’t know where I got this figure from but I always feel it’s a safe total) we need to win around half of our remaining games, to win games you need to score goals, it’s as simple as that.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
