Chapter Five

Bye Bye Brucie, Brucie Bye Bye!

Monday 2nd October.

Apart from long-term injury victim Clyde Wijnhard, Steve Bruce has a more or less fully fit squad available. This of course is apart from the never present Ken Monkou that is, but he seems content to draw more salary in a fortnight than I do in a year whilst loafing about on the treatment table. At least we are off the foot of the table now, and with a home match on Friday night against Barnsley we might be able to make some progress up the table at last.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
