Tuesday 3rd October.

The loan spell of Rob Kozluk is due to end after the Barnsley game on Friday, and efforts are being made to extend this for a further month. If the reports are true, Neil Warnock is prepared to allow him to wave goodbye to Bramall Lane for a paltry £70,000, but things are supposedly so tight financially that we can’t even afford this fee.

I really find it hard to believe that we cannot conjure up this kind of sum when we have the richest backer in the clubs history. It makes me wonder if Rubery is just not particularly inclined to allow Bruce to blow a single penny more until he has proved he can motivate and lift the existing squad. In terms of ability, Kozluk would be a good addition to the squad as he is versatile and hard working, but I suppose a loan is better than nothing this season, so let’s hope that Warnock allows him to stay.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
