Wednesday 30th August.

Ken Monkou for Cardiff? Let’s hope that the report in tonight’s paper has some substance, as we need to ship out some these over-paid and under committed players. Monkou featured in a reserve game last night against Burnley, and apparently a representative from Cardiff City was watching, and he must have been impressed as the defence conceded a mere 4 goals! I hope Cardiff are willing to meet the Dutchman’s high wage demands, and although I do rate him as a decent player (when he can be bothered) we would be better getting rid of him and he can take his injuries with him.

On the injury front, it sound as though the injury to Chris Holland may not be quite as serious as initially suspected, but we’ve heard this before (remember poor old Tom Cowan?), so let’s not bank on anything especially as our treatment staff seem to make work for themselves. Dean Gorré, Steve Jenkins and Kevin Gallen have all resumed light training (how to put a bulb in), so let’s hope it’s not too long before they are playing again, we need them. Well anything will do at the moment.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
