Friday 4th May.

Right back Thomas Heary looks to have shaken off the injury that caused him to miss the visit to Selhurst Park on Tuesday, and with Jon Dyson almost certain to miss Sunday’s game the side will probably revert to the line up on duty at the Hawthorns last week.

Chris Lucketti was featured in the paper tonight saying that the players are determined not to fall at the final hurdle and expressing his own disappointment at having not finished off the job on Tuesday night. I agree that it certainly would be a crying shame if we were to go down after having pulled ourselves from the brink twice this season, and I for one was almost resigned to relegation following the West Brom home defeat in November and the Tranmere away game late in February when all hope seemed to have evaporated. We have already had to endure one Birmingham promotion party during our tenure at the McAlpine so I think that it ought to be our turn to celebrate on Sunday.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
