Monday 29th May.

The first division promotion battle has now been settled with Ipswich Town beating Barnsley 4-2 in the play off final. I suppose it's about time they went up having made the play-offs in something like 4 out of the last 5 seasons, and at least it means that Barnsley will stop receiving their "parachute" money from their flirtation with the top flight a couple of years ago. Of course, as predicted by so many Town fans back in February, guess who scored one of the goals - Marcus Stewart! At least it means that Town will receive a further £¼ million as part of the transfer package.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
