Tuesday 23rd May.

No new arrivals at the club yet, but today John Dickens the Physiotherapist has announced his departure to rejoin ex colleague Tony Pulis who is now managing first division rivals Portsmouth, Dickens former employers.

I won't mourn his departure too much though as his tenure seemed to be most memorable for the number of long-term injuries suffered by significant team members. His predecessor, Dave Wilson, somehow managed to work miracles in the treatment room allowing the manager of the time, Neil Warnock, to field a much more settled side. Sadly he fell ill to cancer and subsequently died, but I'm sure his efforts are fondly remembered by many of the Town faithful. Let's hope that the new physio is more in the Dave Wilson mould than that of John Dickens.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
