Friday 30th March.

Jamie Vincent will return to the McAlpine tomorrow following his recent departure to Portsmouth, and I’m sure he will receive a reasonably hostile reception from the home fans following some of the comments he made after his departure. Portsmouth are only just above the relegation danger zone themselves and victory for Town might yet see them dragged into the dogfight.

Martin Smith is still under treatment for his damaged knee, whilst Delroy Facey resumed training (he must have read the label properly) yesterday and might still be in contention for a place tomorrow. Meanwhile, Portsmouth will have to do without the suspended Lee Bradbury and Steve Claridge who has recently joined Millwall. The latter comes as a great relief because of his uncanny knack of scoring against Town.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
