Tuesday 13th February.

Today was the day that Lou Macari was facing the FA disciplinary committee following his alleged bit of fisticuffs with the fourth official down at Fratton Park in mid December. I missed the sports news on Radio Leeds Leeds Leeds and no mention was made on Radio 5 Live but that’s hardly surprising when they hardly bother with minnows such as us. The Examiner is presumably printed too early to know the outcome so it looks as though I will need to wait until tomorrow.

Following the dismissal of Paul Jewell, Sheffield Wednesday managed a 1-0 win against Tranmere tonight. I hope this is not a sign of things to come, but with Tranmere also struggling I suppose it was the second best result after a 0-0 draw. Unfortunately the result puts us back into the bottom three, and although we have 3 games in hand on Sheffield Wednesday three points on Saturday would be useful to propel us back in the right direction.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
