Wednesday 25th October.

Following last night’s defeat, Lou Macari is stepping up his quest to bring in a loan striker to the McAlpine. Chance after chance was created but no one seemed capable of putting the ball into the back of the net, and it sounds as though Chris Hay has probably blown his chance to impress and win over the fans. Four matches without a goal speaks volumes about our woes at present, and if we don’t score goals we cannot win matches, which we desperately need to start doing.

Just to add to our misery, Sheffield Wednesday, who, until Sunday had been sparing some of our blushes by keeping us off the bottom of the table won again today. Two wins in two matches is propelling them in the right direction in the league table and we are going to be cast adrift at the bottom soon if we don’t pull our fingers out.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
