Thursday 5th October.

It is Chris Lucketti’s turn for the positive fan message this week. He says he will not be surprised if Town beat Barnsley tomorrow night and start a relentless climb up the league table. Sorry Chris, I will be surprised but delighted if you prove me wrong. I hope you do.

The healthy diet regime that Town’s footballers must adhere to has now laid Jon Dyson low with a bout of sickness (I would have called it gastro-enteritis but I can’t spell it, ha-ha). I still can’t work out what or where these players eat to keep suffering from these persistent gastric problems, but they certainly never used to in the days of the Town Café when the players of yesteryear seemed to thrive on a staple diet of pies and pasties.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
