Wednesday 6th September.

In tonight’s paper Steve Bruce was busy lambasting his players, and insisting that they show some more commitment and fight. Let’s face it this is now Bruce’s side and if he can’t motivate them now then he shouldn’t be doing the job. We look so short of ideas on the pitch that it makes you wonder if there is a weakness in the coaching, John Deehan stand up and be counted.

Ian Ayre confirmed that there has been no change in Town’s signings policy, so let’s hope that the three year plan (what a load of cobblers that has proved to be) receives a little more backing next year to gain promotion from the second division.

Last nights inept display has cost us a rather juicy and potentially quite lucrative tie in the second round against Sheffield Wednesday. Anyway, at least we can now concentrate on the league.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
