Wednesday 18th April.

Better news today concerning Mr Booth and after a visit to the seaside he is almost certain to make the team for the vital game against Queens Park Rangers. I wonder if it is the marvellous healing qualities of the crystal clear waters lapping the sands of Blackpool (although you have to be careful of the Mars Bars floating in the sea) or is it just the therapeutic qualities of Lancashire’s number one resort? No matter, if it’s done the trick then I am delighted, and if they will let me have Martin Smiths address I will buy him a train ticket to go there as well.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
