Wednesday 20th December.

Despite sacking Dave Bassett yesterday, Barnsley finalised the transfer of Adie Moses who becomes Town’s first money signing of the season. Lou Macari has done a very good job persuading Barry Rubery to open the cheque book, although he was told he would have to ‘wheel and deal’ in the transfer market, and perhaps this signals the departure of Steve Jenkins.

It was announced today that the FA Cup 3rd round game at home to Bristol City will be ‘pay on the day’ which is quite handy, because it’s sometimes a pain having to queue for a ticket just before or after a match, especially when it’s cold or raining.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
