Tuesday 25th July.

Our other player interest, Gregg Berhalter, has returned to continue with his trial period just as Iwan has flown to Spain, presumably on his 'jollies'. We are all hoping that the petty cash tin in the safe at the McAlpine has a few quid lurking under the plastic change tray, although as it hasn't been used for a while the lock has probably rusted.

Berhalter must be worth a look as he figured in the USA's 2-1 qualifier defeat against Costa Rica, but if I understand correctly he conceded a penalty for a handball, so perhaps he's not that good after all. Besides, who on earth are Cambuur the Dutch side he is currently playing for? They aren't exactly Ajax or Feyenoord, but I suppose any port in a storm will do and a signing would cheer me up.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
