The bitter end

Friday 7th July.

The Andy Booth trail seems to be getting colder, but there is a suggestion of a striker moving in the wrong direction. Terry Dolan who was reserve team coach until March is now manager of York City, and has been linked with Danny Schofield.

Schofield joined Town from non-league team Brodsworth about 18 months ago, and although his chances have been limited so far he seems worth hanging onto, and looks to be a promising prospect from the few glimpses we have to date. I would like to think that both he and Delroy Facey will come of age this season, particularly Delroy who can really set a game alight when given his chance, and he gets the crowd going with his pace and commitment.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
