Friday 4th August

Further bad news today on the injury front. As a result of his swallow dive from the top of his Workmate, it now seems as if Jamie Vincent might be out for as long as 2 months. Quite often, when players break bones in their arms they can carry on playing with a lightweight plaster cast, however, he has been advised by specialists not to risk playing for a couple of months.

This is a big disappointment, particularly as he was one of the most improved players last season, culminating with the Player of the Season award. With Ken Monkou and Thomas Heary already looking extremely doubtful for the Watford game, our defensive options are looking decidedly limited.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
