Thursday 16th November.

I wonder whether Town really are serious about actually signing one of the myriad of trial players looked at this season. Two days ago we were hoping the Dane Bo Nielson would be the answer to our problems, but obviously not, because he’s been allowed to return to Aarhus and has been replaced by Norwegian defender Kjetil Pedersen. Leeds United's Damien Lynch is still training with Town, but this whole trialist situation is becoming tedious to say the least when none of them seem to stay more than a couple of days.

It looks as though Kevin Gallen might be fit to play against his former employers on Saturday, so surely he can find the goals down at Loftus Road as he spent long enough playing there. Over at Vile Parade the managerial vacancy has been filled by a chap called Jim Jefferies, an appointment that doesn’t really surprise me. Although I’ve never heard of the bloke who was previously at Hearts, I’ve said for a long time that most of the team selections were Geoffrey’s (Jefferies, Geoffrey’s, you know what I mean!).

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
