The bitter end

Wednesday 8th November.

Hooray!! Town have managed to avoid defeat, the only problem is that no-one actually kicked a ball. The weather has been horrendous throughout this autumn, and severe heavy rains have brought flooding chaos throughout much of the country. Nottingham Forest’s City Ground is right on the banks of the river Trent, and because there was a risk of flooding around the ground the game was called off just in case. At least it gives us another few days to try to get some of the injured players back, and allow the new training regime to have some effect.

We have today been allowed to retain Rob Kozluk for a third (and last) month’s loan period and this will take us through to the Crewe game at home on the 3rd December. Unless an arrangement is made for a player to be on loan until the end of a season, the maximum period is apparently 3 months, and after that it’s buy or forget!

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
