Thursday 19th October.

There is little real news at the moment, except that Barry Rubery has stated that they won’t rush into an appointment to ensure that the right decision is made. A number of names are circulating including Roy Evans, Steve Coppell and Joe Kinnear, and also former Town coach Terry Yorath who is presently working under Paul Jewell at Sheffield Wednesday who I always felt was the brains behind Town’s successful escape from relegation 2½ years ago. Of the names mentioned I think I would favour Joe Kinnear who assembled a very combative (albeit direct) team at Wimbledon and enjoyed a reputation of being very hard to beat.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
