Sunday 18th March. Following yesterday’s games Tranmere manager John Aldridge has resigned. With his team bottom of the division after chucking away a 2-goal lead to lose 2-3 to Barnsley, he has decided to call it a day. I hope that his successor doesn’t have the beneficial effect that Peter Shreeves has had at Sheffield Wednesday as they climb away from the drop zone. |
