Wednesday 27th December.

Following the victory yesterday over Tranmere, Lou Macari is being strongly tipped to receive the Manager of the Month award for December. Sixteen points out of a possible 18 in December from a team that looked certain for relegation a month ago would make him a prime candidate for the award, but I have mixed feelings about it. It would be nice to see the Macari effect acknowledged by the ‘powers-that-be’, but so often the award is followed by a loss of form and we could ill afford this to happen. Anyway we still have the Sheffield Wednesday game to come this month so it’s not decided quite yet.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
