Friday 10th November.

Without a goal in 6 games now, it looks as though Macari might have the luxury of being able to select both strikers Martin Smith and Kevin Gallen as we desperately need to score to try to claw our way up the table. Whatever the result tomorrow we will be at the bottom of the league because we are 4 points behind the nearest team, but with 3 points for a win two decent results could eliminate that difference.

Kevin Gray should return to partner Chris Lucketti in central defence as they look to contain the ever-dangerous Lee Hughes in addition to Jason Roberts who has been performing well since his summer arrival from Bristol Rovers. We used to have a very good striker from Bristol Rovers but sold him to Ipswich, presumably West Brom. aren’t as stupid (or rapacious) as we are.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
