Saturday 7th October.

In today’s paper, Town’s owner, Chairman and tea lady was delighted with the performance in last nights game which saw us pick up our first home point of the season. He feels that we are on the right track, and the performance certainly suggested that things might be on the up, but we must start winning some games particularly at home. Draws will not keep us out of division 2!

The reason the game was played on Friday instead of Saturday was to avoid clashing with the World Cup qualifier at Wembley with England taking on Germany. Perhaps they shouldn’t have bothered as England lost 1-0 causing Kevin Keegan to take his ball home and quit as England manager. Jacko for England? Perhaps not.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
