Sunday 13th August.

The Kevin Gray situation seems to be moving apace. Following the earlier misinformation about his 'illness', his loan spell has suddenly become a £250,000 transfer deal to Stockport. The reason he initially signed on loan was to enable him to play on Saturday at Gillingham as the transfer deadline had already passed for that game, but clearly the intention is to cash in on any player who attracts interest from another club. I really thought that the days of Town being a selling club were over, but I was severely mistaken and I am very sorry to see the lion hearted Gray depart. I wish him well except when Town visit Edgeley Park and when he returns to the McAlpine, although I'm sure he will receive a good reception from those who still care - the fans.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
