Monday 30th April.

Martyn Margetson gets his big chance tomorrow as he replaces the suspended Nico Vaesen, but let’s hope he doesn’t pick up an injury or have a Vaesen-like rush of blood resulting in his dismissal. The problem is that his cover was going to be youngster Phil Senior, but unfortunately he has picked up an injury and the Football League has turned down Macari’s request to bring in a short-term loan as cover. Although the transfer deadline is long gone, special dispensation has been granted to other clubs in the past such as Birmingham this time last year to bring in a goalkeeper on loan if all of your regular keepers are unavailable as it is considered to be a specialist position. I don’t think that they like Town and have declined the request, so we’ll have 5 outfield players on the bench tomorrow.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
