Monday 26th February.

Macari was today described as ‘disappointed’ after Saturdays defeat against Burnley. You and me Lou, but you’re the one who is paid quite well for getting us out of our predicament whilst I just have this stupid habit of paying to watch the appalling mess we are in. I hope that Barry Rubery’s door is concave with the beating it is receiving as you try to squeeze some transfer funds out of him.

Games seldom seem to pass this season without a player sustaining an injury of one kind or another. This time it is our midfield workhorse Chris Holland who has suffered a broken toe and this is a huge blow just 24 hours before the Tranmere game because we need his industry and work rate on the pitch. Kenny Irons might be considered for a recall in his place at his former stamping ground, but this will no doubt give the midfield a more pedestrian look to it.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
