Thursday 25th January.

Further talks were taking place today between Sheffield United and Peter Ndlovu, but still nothing has been signed so perhaps there is a glimmer of hope. It doesn’t look too promising as Macari is playing it cool saying that he’d almost forgotten about the player. I think this must be Macari’s best poker face because I don’t believe for one minute that he has really forgotten about him, but I don’t think he wants Trevor Francis to know how much we really want to sign him. Fingers crossed!

Town’s first team managed to beat Burnley’s reserve team 4-1 at Turf Moor last night, let’s hope that a similar score line prevails when we play the proper fixture whenever that is.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
