Wednesday 10th January.

There was absolutely no news today worth writing about. Martin Smith has made a couple of reserve appearances and is apparently in contention for a place in the 16 on Saturday, but no news concerning a certain Zimbabwean striker who is contracted to Birmingham City. This is frustrating but I suppose only to be expected.

In the Worthington Cup semi-final last night Ipswich beat Birmingham 1-0 with a goal from …… Marcus Stewart. Ndlovu played for around an hour and Jenkins saw out the 90 minutes but was booked, and I just hope that Francis’ interest in the former is cooling but growing for the latter. Fingers crossed.

A big thank you to Machala for putting up with me doing this and Ian for his support and my Mum for her proof reading.
